One of my greatest difficulties is placing the male figure within an Art Nouveau context. The organic sensual lines characteristic of Art Nouveau traditionally makes it more suitable for the female form, which is probably why you mostly see female central characters featured in Art Nouveau illustrations. My ambition is to create beautiful Art Nouveau style illustrations featuring the male figure. From where I sit, the difficulty lies in presenting this without compromising the male subject's or the male viewer's masculinity.
